Kapoor with Parineeti Chopra at the Premier of Ishaqzaade. Ddebut and breakthrough (2012–present) Arjun was originally supposed to debut with Y-Films’ Virus Diwan in 2011. However, he was launched by YRF in Ishaqzaade, opposite Parineeti Chopra in May 11, 2012. The movie was written and directed by Habib Faisal, of 'Do Dooni Chaar' fame. Kapoor's performance was appreciated in his debut movie by critics and the audience. Film critic Taran Adarsh from Bollywood Hungama commented: "Arjun Kapoor makes a fantastic debut. He has a peerless body language and a 'I-don't-give-a-damn' kind of an approach in the movie. The youngster, with his untidy look and impish smile, has already won female reverence prior to the release of the film and after having watched him emote, you can confidently say that he's blessed to depict this rebellious character in his launch vehicle itself. He comes across as fiery and rustic and at the same time self-assured and assertive in this reckless and intrepid character." Komal Nahta commented: "Arjun Kapoor makes a fine debut as Parma. He emotes well, acts with a swagger and dances delightfully. He has a very good screen presence as well. Arjun and Parineeti’s on-screen chemistry and excellent performances are the highlights of the film."Kapoor is next set to appear in a total of three films, which are Virus Diwan,Aurangzeb and Mr. India 2 Refrence : Wikipedia

Ki And Ka co-stars Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan seem to have found a rather delicious way of beating Monday morning blues. Arjun recently shared a picture of the two of them binging on some yummy chocolate cake on the sets of their movie Ki and Ka. He captioned it with the line - ‘Forget Dubsmash we got Monday morning Cakesmash...cake fest for #KiandKa.’
Now that is indeed a a wonderful way to start the week. Ki And Ka is basically a unique love-story starring Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor. Kareena and Arjun will apparently switch gender stereotypes for the film with Kareena playing a career driven individual while Arjun will be a stay-at-home husband. Balki’s movies are always special and Ki And Ka seems no different.
Boney Kapoor’s once chubby young boy has grown up into a dapper hunk capable of leaping off trains and romancing heroines with equal ease. However, as Arjun Kapoor turns 30, we realized how underutilized he has been in Bollwood so far. Sure we have seen him in those angry young man roles and he even pulled off a sweet and innocent character in 2 States but we feel that he has so much more to offer. So today on his birthday we take a look at three roles we would love to see Arjun Kapoor play. The proper romantic - Thus far, Arjun’s on-screen romance has either been the hot-headed passionate type in Gunday and Ishaqzaade or the sweet college romance of 2 States. What we would really like to see Arjun play is a proper Bollywood romantic a la Shah Rukh Khan. Arjun has that sweetness and boyish charm needed to pull off such a role, if only he would channel his aggressive tendencies towards wooing the ladies instead, we think we would have a winner. An off beat film - Inspite of all his style and panache, Arjun isn’t exactly your typical Bollywood hero. Beneath all his herogiri lies a powerful actor capable of far more. Just as Varun proved himself with Badlapur, we feel Arjun needs to do an off beat movie which would give him more opportunity to perform as an actor. Are you listening Mr. Anurag Kashyap? An out and out comedy - Sure 2 States was funny and Finding Fanny had it’s moments too, but don’t you think Arjun has what it takes to keep us in splits for the entire duration of a movie? Maybe a madcap comedy caper like Happy New Year or probably something like Varun Dhawan’s Main Tera Hero could prove to be just what Arjun needs to touch superstardom. What other roles would you like to see Arjun Kapoor perform in future? Do let us know in the comments section below. Here’s wishin Arjun Kapoor a very happy birthday!
Arjun Kapoor promotes a popular men’s grooming brand and is often seen giving tips on how to maintain facial hair. However, he recently revealed a rather hilarious incident involving him and Katrina. Apparently back in during his Ishaqzaade days he used to be quite close to the Fitoor actress. Here is what he had to say, “When I was preparing for my acting career, I went to Katrina who is a very good friend and asked her to do something with my eyebrows. Katrina plucked and shaped them like a girl would do. Though it was not her fault but after that I could not move out for few days.” We can barely imagine the macho star with thin, shapely eyebrows! While Katrina Kaif is still busy with Fitoor, Arjun Kapoor is all excited about working with Kareena Kapoor Khan. The duo will be working together in R Balki’s next venture which will start shooting next month.
Long before Bollywood stardom arrived, Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor were students together at Barry John’s acting school. And they even made a short film together which we have managed to unearth for you. Incredibly amateurish and borderline hilarious, this short film has been written and directed entirely by Varun Dhawan who has also acted in it. Both Varun and Arjun look suitably intense though you won’t be able to stop yourself from laughing out loud at some of the dialogues. This video just goes to show how even our young Bollywood studs started off looking slightly silly. Compare this to their movies like Badlapur and 2 States and you will realize what a long way they have come. Do check out the video below and let us know what you think.
