A 23 year old waiter named Praveen Kumar Pradhan has been arrested for sending threatening messages to actress Madhuri Dixit. The cyber cell of the police managed to track him down using his cell phone location and he has been remanded in police custody. Apparently Pradhan has been sending Madhuri a number of text messages threatening to kill her children if she did not pay up. He claims to be a part of Chhota Rajan’s gang and has apparently trained a 15 year old to handle bombs. In one message he even threatened to send this 15 year old ‘bomb expert’ to her house if she did not meet his demands. The actress kept receving the messages for a number of days before her agent finally approached the cyber cell. Police are still trying to verify if Pradhan is actually associated with some criminal organization or is simply a lone amateur criminal.
While Alia Bhatt is still swooning over the fact that Ashton Kutcher has loved her #VogueEmpower short film ‘Going Home’, Madhuri Dixit has come up with a short film as part of the same initiative and it has already gone viral on the Internet. Titled ‘Boys Don’t Cry’, this is yet another ironic film that tackles the issue of domestic violence. It has been directed by Vinil Matthew and does have a strong message to convey but lacks the punch that Alia’s video had. Moreover, it does not feature Madhuri Dixit throughout but rather simply has her delivering one line at the end. You can check out the video below and let us know what you think.
