In Salaam-e-Ishq he brought together six couples as the leading pair. And now, he is back again with eight leading ladies from the different eras of Bollywood. Nikhil Advani is all set to direct a women-centric movie that depicts the contemporary woman of today’s India. And for this he has cast a bevy of divas. Shabana Azmi, Dimple Kapadia, Madhuri Dixit, Karisma Kapoor, Rani Mukherji, Preity Zinta, Deepika Padukone and Genelia D’Souza. Wow, now that’s an awesome ensemble any Bollywood fan would love to see. A source revealed that Nikhil started talking to Madhuri about this project quite a while ago, when she was still in the US. Madhuri was pretty excited to be working with her Mrityudand co-star Shabana Azmi and Dimple Kapadia, with whom she worked in Ram Lakhan. This movie depicts women from all age groups. Madhuri, Shabana and Dimple form the first generation; Karisma, the second; Rani and Preity will form the third generation and Deepika and Genelia will form the last. Though the industry is abuzz with speculations about Nikhil’s dedication to Indian divas, the director himself is tight-lipped about it. “It’s too early to talk about this project. I’m at present scripting the film”, said he. Shall we assume that he is designing the script keeping the said divas in mind?
