The movie benefited immensely from a very aggressive marketing campaign and strong word-of-mouth driven by a novel concept, original content and rib-tickling humour. Talking about it being remade in Hindi Shreyas said, “"I am getting a lot of requests from my friends in media and Bollywood that I should make the film in Hindi so that people across India can enjoy it. Life has come a full circle for Shreyas Talpade who is all geared up for his upcoming release ‘Poshter Boyz’. Shreyas who had earlier starred in Farah Khan’s ‘Om Shanti Om’ had approached his friend Farah to do a special guest appearance and she immediately agreed to be a part of it. When Shreyas met the multi talented Director - Actor on her set to explain the scene to her she suggested that they shoot it right then and there. All agreed and DOP Mahesh Limaye who was shooting an ad-film with Farah at the time readily agreed to helm the camera. Shreyas called the shot which was a single take. Considering the sometimes isolated and hectic lives that our Bollywood stars lead, having a pet must lend a therapeutic effect to their lives. Here are a few pet lovers from our industry - The Shahenshah, Amitabh Bachchan has a dog that matches his legend - a Piranha Dane named Shanouk, that according to him is feeling a little left out ever since Aaradhya arrived. Salman Khan’s love for pets is well known. The star was left heart broken when his Bullmastiff, Myson passed away but he’s got Myjaan for company as of now. Then there is Shah Rukh Khan who has four dogs – Dash is a Japanese Lapdog, Juicy and Kai are Maltese and Hulk is a Labrador. He cuddles up with them whenever he is feeling depressed. Priyanka Chopra is a dog only person as she doesn’t really get along with cats. She has got a cocker spaniel named Brando. We wonder what The Godfather would have to say to that. Sonam Kapoor doesn’t only own dogs but she also believes in promoting pet adoption initiatives. Her pooches are named Coke, Bacardi and Feathers. Heady mix, that! Kalki Koechlin is the first cat person in the list. She loves spending time with her kitty, Dosa who she acquired from a stray animal shelter. That explains why the Anurag Kashyap Films logo has a cat in it! We also have Bipasha Basu on the list who is known to pamper her Chihuahua, Poshto quite like her ex- John Abraham. She takes him to regular shopping sprees buying him clothes and accessories. That’s Puppy Love for you. Yesteryear diva, Rekha also makes it to the list. After her first pet, Pisti passed away, she adopted another one and named it Shiva. Shilpa Shetty is a complete pet person as she owns a Pekingese called Champagne besides two Persian cats. We hope they don’t get into frequent fights. Next up is Fardeen Khan who likes to scare people with his dogs as he has named them Tiger and Gunda. Considering that Tiger once bit his owner over a bone, we’d rather admire him from a distance. Koena Mitra is another lady who is extremely fond of dogs. She’s got eight of them and they are called Missy, Jiggy, Fluffy, Sushi, Cookie, Jerry, Bella and Dude. Most of her companions are the toy dog kind! Some other celebrity pet lovers include Esha Deol, who has a dog named Piccola. Shreyas Talpade has two pet Labradors, Don and Knight while Tusshar Kapoor has a pooch named Whiskey. Gul Panag has got a Beagle who has a social networking account of his own. Manisha Koirala and Zarine Khan are cat persons as they have two cats each.
Actor Shreyas Talpade loves to play pranks on his co-stars and unit members. His experience on the sets of "Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal" was no different.
Taking co-star Nana Patekar and a sporting Shailendra Singh into confidence, Shreyas made the crew members drink karela (bitter gourd) juice.
Calling it his morning ritual for a healthy mind and radiant skin, Shreyas made the unit report to the sets 30 minutes in advance and go through laughter therapy followed by a gulp-down session of karela juice.
The unsuspecting unit members drank the juice only to realise that Shreyas had pulled a fast one on them.
However, the actor didn't know he would end up being a part of the prank himself.
When Shreyas grinned ear to ear, and went back to his cup of coffee, someone had cleverly switched it with karela juice. Not one to be perturbed, Shreyas drank the juice with a straight expression only to have everyone laughing.
When the unit discussed the joke with filmmaker Priyadarshan, he only had one thing to say: "If they have guts, tell them to pull it on Paresh (Rawal)." Source: IANS
