Whatever success he has got is because of the sort of human being that he is. You can’t manipulate such kind of success,” Aalim said. “Most of Sonu’s friends are Muslims. We don’t talk about Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs…It’s all about humanity,” Aalim added.
After so many years Sonu Nigam has finally got some attention. But isn’t this too much of a reaction from everybody? People who aren’t even related to this topic are tweeting their takes. Indians really need to take things lightly and stop making issues about such tweets!

Sonu Nigam turns 41 today and over the years this talented singer has given us many timeless melodies. Mere Haath Mein - Fanaa This mellifluous number from Aamir Khan’s really shines thanks to Sonu’s vocals, while Sunidhi Chauhan is an added treat. Main Agar Kahun - Om Shanti Om Sonu Nigam has done some of his best works singing for Shahrukh Khan. Not only do their voices match but Sonu manages to touch the right romantic tone that fits SRK’s performance. Main Agar Kahun from Om Shanti Om is one such example. Films Of India Yeh Dil Deewana - Pardes In fact, Sonu’s first hit number was also a song picturized on King Khan. Yeh Dil Deewana from Pardes is a peppy, fast paced number which was very famous back in the 90s. Main Hoon Na - Main Hoon Na Main Hoon Na is another example of the successful Shahrukh- Sonu combo. This title song remains a very hummable tune to this day and Sonu’s vocals lend it just the right amount of pathos. You Are My Soniya - Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham Moving away from the romantic zone, this number from Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham was a very popular party track. Films Of India Saathiya - Saathiya A.R.Rahman gave us many lovely numbers in Saathiya but the track that really stands out is the title song. Sonu Nigam did full justice to this track with his lazy crooning, but always melodious, voice. Kal Ho Na Ho - Kal Ho Na Ho Sonu Nigam really shines in this touching number. Sonu’s ethereal voice set the mood for the film. Tanhayee - Dil Chahta Hai Pain, anguish and heart-ache - Sonu’s speaks right to the soul of every heartbroken lover through Tanhaee which remains one of the best works of this talented singer. Films Of India Tu Hi Tu - Dil Se An other very popular A.R.Rahman number sung by Sonu Nigam is Tu Hi Tu from Dil Se. It is a uniquely sensual number which Sonu pulled off with consummate ease. Suraj Hua Maddham - Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham Suraj Hua Maddham from Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham is probably Sonu Nigam’s most popular number. It needs no introduction and ranks amongst the best romantic songs of the current era.
