Sonu may get into the Guinness book
It’s quite likely the musical mettle of singer-composer Sonu Nigaam is not going to stay limited to national boundary. When Sonu is already set to release an international album soon, he may soon make it to the Guinness Book Of World Records.
Sonu has recently awed his audience when he produced 53 unique voices in the title track of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Tees Maar Khan’. This attempt may lead him to be listed among Guinness Book of World Record holders, but the singer is yet to prove them. “Guinness Book has sent me a letter but they want to listen all the tracks
again. They want the proof of 54 tracks. I will show them when I get time”, says Sonu. And while we are curious to know how he managed to bring out so many distinct voices he says he enjoyed one in particular. “The one I enjoyed the most was singing in Akshay Kumar’s voice,” he admits.
In the meantime is very excited about the invitation he received from Bryan Adams after he shared stage with the Canadian rocker in the opening gala of World Cup 2011 in Dhaka. "I feel humbled by Bryan's warm gesture, he surprised me by singing along my song during rehearsal...and has invited me to visit him when I go abroad next. Last few months have been busy but exciting as I am also judging the first season of a new talent show coming on air this summer," he says. Way to go boy!
