Deepika executes dance with grace: Bosco
After ‘Munni Badnaam’ and ‘Sheila ki Jawani’the title track of ‘Dum Maaro Dum’—yet unveiled—has already started making buzz in media for the scintillating dance move of actor Deepika Padukone.
Padukone is not acting in the film but associated with it because of a promotional video made for which she has meticulously picked every step choreographed by Bosco-Caeser. “Deepika learnt the steps very gracefully and executed them very well,” says choreographer Bosco.
While the title takes us back to the iconic song from 1971 hit ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’, which was picturised on Zeenat Aman, but there is no resemblance with the old song, claims Bosco. “We wanted to make a completely different sounding track with a completely different look,” says Bosco. “The Zeenat Aman version is eternal. It’s completely different treatment that we have given to Dum Maaro
Dum. That was chilled out, it’s more dance based,” he added.
The choreographer hopes it becomes the next chartbuster after ‘Munni Badnaam’ and ‘Sheila ki Jawani’, which ruled the charts last year. “After ‘Munni’ and ‘Sheila’ we are looking forward to do ‘Dum Maro Dum’ be one of the chartbusters. I think it should be one of the biggest after ‘Darling…’. I hope the audience likes it,” he
Starring Abhishek Bachchan and Bipasha Basu, ‘Dum Maro Dum’ is an
action thriller directed by Rohan Sippy.
