Director Remo D’Souza has finally managed to lock his next superhero project starring Tiger Shroff. At first, Dilip Kumar’s grand- niece Sayessha was supposed to play the lead opposite Tiger but she then chose to do Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay. Sayessha loss proved to be Jacqueline’s gain as she was more than happy to be a part of the movie. Interestingly, the makers have also managed to lock-down a catchy title for the movie which will now be called Turbanator since Tiger will play the role of a Sardar superhero in the movie. Remo had previously considered titles like Flying Jatt and Turbo Singh before zeroing down on Turbanator which also happens to be Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh’s nickname.
However, since its a Remo D’Souza film you can be assured of plenty of dance sequences especially since an incredible dancer like Tiger Shroff is in it. Apparently, this is exactly what attracted Jaccky to the project. A fantastic dancer herself, Jacqueline will play the role of a Bharat Natyam dancer who meets Tiger when he rescues her from a bunch of baddies. Jacqueline spoke about the movie and said, “I play a Bharat Natyam dancer and I’m learning the dance form from a teacher in Delhi. I’ve watched Heropanti and I feel Tiger is a really good dancer. My role includes a lot of dancing and flying so I want to match him, step for step.”
Jacqueline is currently busy shooting for Brothers along with Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra as well as her Hollywood flick, Definition Of Fear. Remo D’Souza’s Turbanator will hit the floors in April.
