Kollywood stars have always been smart when it comes to introducing their children into cinema. Not for them the practice of just shoving them into any old movie. Instead they take time to study their children and understand their capabilities. They then send them to good quality acting schools or if their interest lies in being behind the camera then to a good university that teach courses in filmmaking, script writing, editing, colour correction etc.
Vikram is no different from any of these smart fathers, as he has already seen talent in his 18-year-old son Dhruv. He doesn't pretend to be a carefree father saying things like “I am not sure of my son’s talent.” Instead he is confident enough to say “I think my son has talent”. And Dhruv on his own part has been studying his father's career and is modeling his life to take advantage of his father stardom. He is so far ahead in his thinking that he said that he would love to one day direct a big film with his father playing the lead. Directing a superstar father would motivate anyone.
