It is not everyday that we come across a suspense film that not does not just try to tie up every loose ends but pulls the viewer in even the method of story telling. Director Karthick Naren, 22, must be pretty pleased with his work after being appreciated by 'Baahubali' star Rana Daggubati for his Tamil thriller 'Dhuruvangal 16'. The movie, which marked Karthick's directorial debut, is having a pretty good run in cinemas across the state.
Rana Daggubati made a Facebook post, where he says that though he hasn’t seen the film yet, the kind of reviews he has been hearing are amazing. The film, feature the veteran actor Rahman in the lead and is all about a murder investigation and features 16 key characters and therefore the mystery of the title. Currently in its fifth week in cinemas, the film has emerged successful despite the onslaught of superstar Vijay's Tamil action-drama "Bairavaa". From filmmaker A.R. Murugadoss to Gautham Vasudev Menon, stalwarts of the Tamil film fraternity have heaped praise on the film and the young director. It is being dubbed in Telugu as "16" and will also be remade in Hindi.
