Salman

Before we start, we at Films of India would like to wish all our Indian viewers a very Happy Independence Day! We are here with the review of the eagerly anticipated Ek Tha Tiger and Salman Khan fans can breathe easy because once again Salman doesn't disappoint, in fact if possible the man seems to get better. To sum up the movie in one line- ETT is is the love story of 2 spies.

The narrative is fast paced and keeps you hooked till the last credit rolls. This passionate love story-cum-spy thriller takes place in 3 continents and 5 countries and does justice to all. The tale builds up to a beautifully poignant love story that has you crossing your fingers for Zoya and Tiger. The chemistry between the two- Salman and Katrina is palpable. The movie has a goal and works steadily towards that without meandering unnecessarily. The swagger of Salman seems back in step with the tradition of the character and Salman is unsurpassable and plays his raw edgy character with a heart of gold with finesse. You grow to love Tiger and are rooting for him till the end. Move over Spiderman, Batman, G.One and all other superheroes, there is only one REAL Superhero and that is Tiger aka Salman Khan. Katrina shines as Zoya. Not only does she look beautiful but essays her role with maturity and ease. Girish Karnad and Ranvir Shorey are exemplary. photography of locales is stunning, the action sequences are brilliant, they are larger than life but if they were anything less you would be disappointed. Background score by Julius Packham is splendid and matches up to the crescendo of ETT. Aditya Chopra, Kabir Khan and Neelesh Misra- take a bow for the story, direction and screenplay.

The movie is all that it was hyped up to be, it is full on entertainment Sallu style. Salman's mere presence ensures that you get your money's worth and this movie which has been made on a huge scale will rock the box office. Rejoice all you Salman fans, the Khan is back with another blockbuster! Salman is a legend in the movie and for being an overall entertaining package and also for the fact that you can watch it a second time! We at Films of India give it 4 stars.
