The Indra Kumar-directed Grand Masti's music is out.
'Grand Masti' i.e. the title track is also the first one in the album. Sung by Sanjeev Rathod, Darshan Rathod, Payal Dev and rapped by Earl Edgar. It is composed by Sanjeev-Darshan. The 'Grand Masti Pa Pa Pa' rap is the part that stays with you long after the song is over. It may be annoying for some, catchy for others.
The next number is Zulmi Zulmi, sung by Mika Singh and composed by Anand Raj Anand. It starts with some promising notes, but just gets humdrum after a while.
This song is followed by Tu Bhi Mood Mein, rendered by Wajid Khan and Ritu Pathak sounds like a fun number, but it is not interesting enough to hold your attention.
After this comes the Grand Masti Remix, which takes the same singers and composers. The renewed beats in the beginning are just a little grating to the ear. But one does question the point of the remix, since it does not offer anything significantly anything new.
Grand Masti Mash-up is a combination of all the other songs in the album. One would question the wisdom of including this number in the album too.
Films of India gives the album one star. Grand Masti is neither grand, nor fun to listen to. You're not going to get much masti out of this one, so don't bother.
