Boss - Trailer Review

27-08-2013

After playing a conniving don in Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara, Akshay Kumar is back in his element, doing what he does best. Teaching the baddies a lesson of a lifetime. The recently released Boss trailer has a dramatic build-up which includes an evil cop played by Ronit Roy, a humiliated Mithun Chakraborty who curses him and the Boss himself i.e. Akshay Kumar.

Everybody needs to tighten their belts as he somersaults over a truck, throws power-packed punches with his ‘Boss’ knuckle-duster and has them flying for cover. Shiv Pandit and Aditi Rao Hydari also pair-up to make a refreshing young couple in the film.

Boss - Trailer Review

Boss appears to have all the elements of a wholesome Bollywood action-comedy intact! And Akshay Kumar is the unchallenged action hero, leaping and beating his way through bad guys and does it with the effortless cool that is uniquely his. Despite the slew of action films that have been out yet, this seems more than a notch higher in terms of sleek editing and a very earthy Haryanvi set-up.

Check out the trailer for yourself. It’s an out-and-out masala flick and since it’s Khiladi Kumar, who’s back with a bang, we aren’t complaining! Anthony D’Souza seems to have bounced back after the unsatisfactory reception of the underwater action-thriller Blue. We’re hoping the film will live up to the expectations the trailer is bound to generate.
