Box Office Report: Madhuri's Dedh Ishqiya has a slow start
Box Office Report: Madhuri

Regardless of widespread critical acclaim, Madhuri Dixit’s Dedh Ishqiya has had a very slow start. The first day box office collections stood at 3.20 Crores. It failed to grow on Saturday and managed to pull in just another 3.75 Crores taking the two-day total to a measly 6.95 Crores. Word-of-mouth may pull more crowds over the week but with such a poor start it is doubtful even that would make much difference.

Comparatively, Yaariyan fared much better inspite of bad reviews and raked in 11.5 Crores in the first two days. Dhoom 3 continues to haunt the box office but seems to have finally slowed down in the fourth week. The film’s net domestic collections have managed to reach a staggering 279 Crores.
